Area 5
A video production company made up of former video game journalists, Area 5 has always kept one foot in film and TV and another in Videogameland. Their documentary work is sometimes in video games themselves (such as Tetris Forever), feature length documentaries (such as GROUNDED I & II which tell the stories of the making of The Last of Us I & II), and sometimes they have the unique pleasure of getting to work within the astounding world of indie developers and festival-makers on showcases such as Day of the Devs. Since the beginning of the Day of the Devs digital showcases back in 2020, Area 5 has been delighted to be the production partner that brings them to life; not just because they love the show itself (which they do), but because they get to see all the incredible selections before anyone else.
